Self care...one of the biggest, buzziest terms in the world of personal growth! Also, one of the most important things to develop...
However, I truly believe we go about thinking of self care in all the wrong ways. Frequently, we equate self care with things like bubble baths, indulgent food, taking time off to watch a streaming series, or going on vacation and running away from the world at large. Now, while those things can be amazing from time to time - and yes, sure, in limited doses can constitute a form of self care - they're more escapist practices than anything else.
Self care is really about putting yourself first and taking care of yourself first before ANYTHING else. And how do we do that? In this episode, we'll explore some strategies on how to prioritize our mental and physical health, and also learn to make ourselves the number one priority. Self care isn't always an easy practice, but it's a worthy one!
