episode 43: why in person connection is everything

We live in an increasingly digital world - obviously.  I mean, hey, you're listening to this podcast digitally!  And while the digital arena has great power to connect us (we saw this illustrated to the "nth" degree during the lockdowns of the pandemic in 2020), it isn't necessarily "enough" for all of us.

A basic human need is face to face connection and interaction.  We need to learn to not discount this, as we become more and more tied to our phones and computers and smartwatches and social media accounts.

Connecting in person, though, can be a challenge for many of us.  If you're an introvert, if you experience social anxiety, or even if you're just incredibly busy and feel like you don't have time...it's important to learn HOW to connect with others in person.  In this episode we'll explore the importance of in person connection, and I'll give you four strategies to help you build your connection skills.
